Welcome, I created this website for the purpose of sharing information I have gathered from other websites and my own theories on the cause and possible treatment of Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Please note that I am not a doctor or scientist. I am just a person who has suffered with this disease for over 13 years. I am tired of being forced to live my life around the pain and inconvenience that Hidradenitis Suppurativa causes, and like most HS sufferers, I am desperate to know the cause. If the cause can be found, perhaps a cure or at least a viable treatment might not be far behind. Please do not proceed until you have read the following information: 1. I do not have conclusive evidence regarding a single cause of HS. 2. I do not have conclusive evidence of a complex of causative factors that could be responsible for HS. 3. I do not have a cure for HS. 4. I do not have a guaranteed treatment for HS. What I offer here is a series of theories that may show possible connections between HS and other symptoms, diseases and conditions. These are, for all intents and purposes, my own opinions. They are my “guesses”, based on what I have read on websites. Any reference I make to “research” refers purely to “online research” that I have performed by searching terms on a search engine (Google), and not to scientific, laboratory or clinical studies, except as it pertains to scientific, laboratory or clinical studies performed by others. I do not have a background in science or biology.
